  • @c3d342 either 21 but i think 22. and now he is 40

  • He's an alien if you ask me.

  • the first 2 minutes are just...random sounds then it goes to cool stuff. pretty good. for a man with a bucket and a mask on his face. o.O

  • Was neat for like 10 seconds

  • he's so weird...

  • I felt like I was standing there watching the whole time with everyone else. Then the video ended, and I was suddenly back in my room, sucking at guitar..

    :(

  • ehh, van halen sucks. no offence but buckethead is better. so is randy rhoads.

  • Tall and Robotic.

  • 66699 views lol. at least when i was here

  • I'm a "old" blues player. This guy is the greatest thing since Jim Beam was invented. He is THE perfect example of why you SHOULD NOT be pigeon-holed into one style of music. To be truly great, as Buckethead is, you MUST stretch your musical hunger. Long live this dude. His music is already "FOREVER". All you young guitarists, learn everything you can, no matter what the style. YOU WILL BE BETTER FOR IT.

  • live the love

  • live the love

  • @leftyjcw Good comment dude!

  • @leftyjcw Buckethead is an EXCELLENT inspiration for guitarists, since his style is very open and intriguing.

  • i heard foggy mountain breakdown. that is awesome.

  • cool little bit of tubular bells

  • this dude is gooddddddddddddddd!

  • Wow, Buckethead is amazing.

  • wow this was my first time seein and hearin this guy, very talented def very fast fingerin and appregios...

  • Maybe it's just me, but I think Buckethead and Zack Kim combined would be interested.

  • lol was that chocolate rain

  • I love the country hybrid picking..

  • He's one weird dude

But ya gotta love the Buckethead!!!!!!!!

  • CHOCOLATE RAIn!

  • one of the songs he plays is i love my parents check it out

  • now i want a chicken!!!

  • wow ... im left speechless , and partially crying with laughter at the "halloween" music :P

    he's a god ... a funny god !

  • God the 90's were so weird, what with Primus and Buckethead and all.

  • @megatron515

wtf lol his best years were in the 80's

primus was brief in his career.

He was the bam magera of guitar playing,, he always had friends around him with cameras and liked to do wierd stuiff for the camera.

  • @megatron515 Yet they were so incredibly awesome.

  • hey...just one question.. and answer honestly... IS there anybody better than bucket head? i heard there was someone out there better than this guy and if this guy is a maniac what does that make the other guy???

  • Shawn Lane

  • @carniusrogue have you looked into Guthrie Govan? He has hundreds of videos up...I'm not saying he's better, I suppose that's a matter of taste...but he is awesome.

  • no, you can reach his skill only with a bucket on your head. than you take your guitar and play as his hell

  • are you referring to speed? creativity? technique? looks up the likes of Jason Becker, Paul Gilbert, Rusty Cooley, Chris Impellitteri, VInnie Moore. just to name a few...of the greatest. Buckethead is quite creative, no doubt-but he is not nearly the best at playing guitar/shredding.

  • 1:46 = lick after the Heartbreaker solo - Led Zeppelin

  • hmm- didn't know that Bach collaborated with Led Zep- oh wait... Logic bust sorry.

  • w/e i doubt he got that lick from Bach.

  • Why would you doubt that? Bouree is a pretty common Bach song, especially for guitarists.

  • Fair point

but i would expect it is more likely that he maybe heard it in a zep song considering how influential they were

  • @parisianUK its Bach's Bourrée in E minor

  • How the hell does he do this things \,,/

  • if you practice 30 hours a day 8 days a week for about 5 years you could probibly match his skill lol

  • Ohh! Yeah! Ok! \,,/

  • 2:58...this guy is a madman

  • chocolate rain!

  • Is this the guy from The Rocky Top Mountain Boys?

  • whats teh name of the one he plays aafter the one of halloween ??

  • exorcism theme tune if that helps

  • My favorite guitarist, hes quite ridicules.

  • if buckethead hadnt played the guitar he would be a serial killer XD. does the last song he plays have a name?

  • its either who me OR i love my parents

  • it's I love my parents, who me is completely different, there's no way you can mistake one from the other.

  • thaks

  • gow does he move his fingers so fast? is there an excersise for it or something?

  • yeah there are millions lol try chromatic exercises like --1--2--3--4-- all over the neck in every position on every string and you'll get it. oh, and learn the major scale and all of its modes, practice them in every single key and you'll definitely improve in speed

  • thanks for the advice, im a noob at this

  • metronomes help as well. if you're looking to buy something, there are two products that i think are the best.

#1 Guitar Grimoire Scales & Modes

#2 John Petrucci: Rock Discipline DVD

those two are the best products i have seen so far. The Grimoire can be hard to understand at first so if you have questions just message me

  • whats the song at 3:19 ?

  • impresive and fuck´n crazy ass

  • Buckethead gets confused 2:13!

  • @199191 he stomps on eddy

  • @Arsonloke haha go to music school

  • @199191 He is :P

  • @199191 well it's based on everyones opion, some people think he is, others think he's not, so yeah, it's based on opions, but good thing thoguh, nice to find out what people say

  • @12345mike22 yes but i dont think they know he made over 900 songs lol

  • @RockTheStones omg even i didn;t know that :O lol and i like his songs :D i think there amazing

  • @199191 he is lol

  • @199191 i'd say better than anyone else at everyting, tapping, soloing, and playing beautifull songs and also very speciel/weird songs but composes them in a sick way like no one else

  • @199191 u cant compare BH to EVH, both are unique in their own way.

  • @jallan1407 Lets remember EVH broke ground on the tapping techniques. And forever changed heavy metal.Eruption sound like your witnessing the destruction of the earth, and that was just a warm up set of scales.BH is good too ,but just likeEVH there will be a new guy in the next 20 years who will change the way we listen to music again.Just practice a couple of thousand hours and maybe you could be that guy,I'm already half way there.

  • @199191 He is.. He is pure awesome!

  • @199191 Van Halen isn't good O_o

  • @199191 watch his other videos

  • @199191 He sure as fuck is :)

  • I Heard That Gilbert Grape Taught Buckethead To Play Guitar... It Was After Buckethead Overdosed On "Buckley's Cough Syrup" And A Near-Ovum Experience... He Woke Up With Feathers In His Mouth... Goose Down From A Sleeping-Bag He Chewed Open While He Was O.D.'d... Then He Picked Up His Severed Head... And Wondered About Brian Greene's String Theory... Was It ALL About An Empty Nest?
