As a University of Memphis student and fan, my hatred of Kentucky basketball is in the same area as taxes, Alabama football, child abuse, food poisoning, and annoying custom ringtones. I've always had nothing but respect and props for the way Indiana plays it's basketball, and this game solidified Indiana's position as my favorite team in the Big Ten. Awesome game, awesome video, and to hell with Kensucky

Dude, I have to say that ever since I first saw this video in mid December, I have watched it at least 30 times. Being a lifelong Hoosier fan and native, I grew up shooting hoops on a backboard bolted to our barn and loved watching the IU vs. UK game every year with my dad. Setting the background music to the score from "Hoosiers" was genius and really helped underscore all the feelings of pride we have for our Indiana Hoosiers! Well done

@tlongacre7 Thanks! I'm actually not a lifelong Hoosier, growing up in East Lansing watching Magic, Skiles, Smith, et. al. While I still follow the Spartans, my love for IU, as an alum, is unparalleled. I went to IU/UK games at the Hoosier Dome and Freedom Hall while in college, and watched this game with my kids at home (who I totally freaked out with my reaction which thankfully wasn't captured on video). Glad you've enjoyed the video so many times. It never gets old!

pure genius, i was watching this with my grandpa in his tv room, (were huge ND fans) but were pulling for IU, cuz I hate Kentucky, (Watford for the win??, YESSS, YESSSS). I cried when it was all over, I lost my best friend last year who was a huge IU fan as well. It meant so much to me. He always said IU's basketball program would be back this year and we would win a national title next year, if not this year too. Even if we don't, this game was a great moment in my life and I will never forget it. RIP Clint McCarter

Calapari had a student take the SAT for Derick Rose when they were at Memphis. Rumor is Calapari is up to old tricks. Hope IU can get back its 3 point shooting. 1 point lost to Nebraska was difficult to take. IU needs to look for 3 in transition not half court offense where good looks are more difficult to find. Next year's IU recruiting class A+.

NCAA said the refs were not calling major fouls against both teams, in an interview IU had about 4-5 major fouls that the refs didnt call. They also said that UK fouled out the end to try and stop time but the refs didnt call it either

Seriously. Of all the videos I've watched (at least 100) this video is the only one I can watch 5+ times and still get chills every time. What an amazing moment in history. The whole situation involving the game - NCAA sanctions, the last three years of struggles, and UK bringing in a super talented team that most people expected to dominate the game - made it that much more incredible and special. I'm so glad I was able to be there.

Should have video taped my reaction too... All I remember is jumping up and down screaming "He made it!" over and over again. Doing my best job not to knock over the Xmas tree... then my wife comes running downstairs screaming (she couldn't watch the final play). Losing to Lipscomb at home. @kahminggg It is great that you took the time to watch, even though by your use of the term "match" it is clear that you are not from the US (in bball it's a game). I love that you have embraced bball, and maybe will even become an IU fan! To answer your question, it is just a "normal" game, as normal as a rivalry of such magnitude can be. This is only the 9 game of the season, and it is before the conference schedule even starts. So not the finals, but definitely not normal.
