I love watching racing! I grew up watching the Indy cars with my dad. Glad to see a new video from you. I hope you, Peggy, and TJ are all doing well. :)
its really a ahhh well umm THRILL to see first hand even with earplugs in standing about 15 to 20 feet away your chest, eyes, body, ears, noise hairs, and the ground below you starts vibrating then its half way down the track if you blink and over if you sneeze. lol
I know impact of such a purely physical experience. And yeah, even the nose hairs! LOL! Not a monster funny car from 20 feet, which has to be totally mind-blowing, but Saturn V launches, Apollo, and the Shuttle. And not from the public area a half mile away, but from the bunker at Launch Control. It feels as if the Earth below you is gonna break.
But they take a while to get moving. one sneeze and you've missed that car altogether! :-P
Yeah, granted, a Saturn V is a whole different order of magnitude, but I can use it to relate to the experience. I've never seen a rocket take off horizontally. You have... :-)
yup yup its my favorite, always has been and always will be. got more to post if i can ever get around to loading it and converting it and editing.... :-)
I wish I could drive one of those fast cars one day!~ann Hope you and family are doing ok.....
