Depends on the haircolor and skincolor. There are many shades of red, some come with super pale skin that burns and/or freckles and some redheads with darker shades with some brown can have darker skin that tans. I have red/brown hair and my skin tone is light with olive tones and I tan easily... no freckles either. So it varies a lot.
