LOL with 300 cars a year i DO NOT have time to look up EVERY car and EVERY opition and type of injection on Google on my desktop i have sit up in the Cul De Sac there.... @CerealMarshmallows lambda sound was an emissions reduction system for volvos. it measured something about the exhaust and sent data back to the engine

Great car, but I'd have to agree with all the others: The PRV engine is nothing to be proud of, especially compared with Volvo's four cylindre engines of the time. It is not just less reliable and thirstier, it is also much harder to work on. But, of course, do you want the "big one" it comes with a V6. Special car anyway! :)

Great cars but the V6 was absolute garbage. The B series four cylinders are and will for ever be the best engines ever made by any manufacturer on the planet. They never made gobs of horse power but that could be fixed with turbos. My '89 240 is still on the road with over 700,000 miles on the original motor!
