What Clutch did you go with? I have been looking at changin my 97's plate.. and get 75 HP ATS injectors.. I have a 4 inch Straight pipe and I don't remember the intake but it breaths very well.. I was curious of a good clutch that isn't to stiff and is not bad to drive..
@ImAMindlessOne oh thats cool whats the web site you got the 100 in it right now from and how much power did you get out of it and did it make it smoke more?
@anoonan27 nope no need to its a 5 spd its got aftermarket clutch in it, but as far as the trans its stock and has a larger input shaft, and besides i've heard they can handle about 900 hp
@anoonan27 it tops out at 100 mph with stock plate and the aftermarket one the only difference is with the aftermarket plate has a lot more pull at 100 and wants to go faster the factory could barely make it. it would go faster if I could go beyond 3k in fifth gear
@TheTerminator310 197k on mine and runs like a raped ape. no problems yet. the clutch is going bad but i only use it going into reverse or starting out so it should last a little while longer
@1996cumminspower Yeah, my Dad had a 2005 Dodge Cummins, common-rail, 24V, 6 speed manual (sold it) and even at 220k miles it still tore the pavement up whenever you layed into it. It was a great truck.
could you just take the whole fuel plate out? would it hurt anything?

big difference with the fuel plate

Looks like about 11 seconds to 60, and not even jamming through the gears. Pretty damn good for a truck.

did the plate make your truck smoke more?
SockBilly 1 year ago
@SockBilly not really it could but its a small plate like a 12 or 10 have a 100 in right now it was a way better choice to go with

No matter how many mile's you put on a Cummins, it won't wear out.
