I hope that this one turns out better than the previous olympic games crossover. Personally, I think they should just make a Mario-Sonic Crossover that combines gameplay elements of both the mario and sonic franchises in a real game with a plot and the like.

If Your Going to get it for the Wii then some events will use the wii balance board so if havnt got on then you wont be able to play some events, it you dont believe me go on to the oficial website and there near the botton if says somthing like: get up on your wii balance board, get your stylus and play ir somthing like that. You would prboally use the board for snowboarding or skiiing in the game ^_^

I agree with Acenra66, though. The Wii's getting too many "Wii-insert title here" games or games that have to do with shaking, rattling and rolling. Mario Galaxy was okay, albeit a bit gimmicky, but I can't play Twilight Princess because of the waving and thrusting of the Wii mote getting in the way of the fun. Sonicpower had a point too, that even not-core games are good, but some core games would be nice, and what we have just isn't enough.

I myself don't think the platformer idea would work overly well, and I'd prefer some thing like Mario & Sonic Kart or Mario & Sonic Brawl.

Also, this is Sega's game, so don't blame Nintendo if it doesn't offer exactly what you're looking for.

Finally, Nintendo haven't stopped making good games: don't forget that there's gonna be a new Pikmin game in the future, alongside new Sin & Punishment, Punch Out!!, Mario & Luigi and Zelda other games.

I'm just saying games like Brawl & Mario galaxy are good but mario galaxy came out almost two years ago and the last wii that I got was Brawl and that was a YEAR ago.
