  • I love my 328i. Only mod is a Signature Motoring performance intake kit. They run around $170 and add up to 9HP in the E46 323/325/328 and up to 13.9HP in the 330. That's about $17/per extra HP... A good value for the extra oomph. General HP increases are shown:

    E30 series: 6.0-13.4hp gain

    E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain

    E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain

    E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain

    Z3/Z4 (all): 5.5-13.9hp gain

See my channel videos for action!

  • Omg finally I know how to turn it off :) thanks man!!!!

  • What is DSC? Please explain! YES, I am an idiot I guess.

  • @CaspersSVT Dynamic Stability Control aka Traction Control

  • In mine i just start the car and then hold the dsc button until the dsc and brake lights illuminate yellow. Is that different than what this does?

  • @maybe000itsme Yes, this is different. This enters a type of service mode where there is no possibility of the DSC re-enabling until the car has been turned off and back on. In the scenario you're talking about, you are indeed disabling DSC, but another push of that button (or the driving conditions he is talking about with very high HP cars) will cause it to re-enable.

  • How many people have to die before we stop turning off DSC? Oh, the humanity. LOL.

Seriously, good info and nice car. :)

  • how do u put it back on?

  • What is considered High boost in that thing?

  • @MadMike2288 They are high compression engines as they are so I wouldn't think anything above 8 or 9 on a stock one

  • Ahh, OK Chris. Got it. I talked to you about getting HPF WORLD CLASS TC system with multi settings. I think that is so neat...so much better than BMW's horrible system. Alas, I must wait until i get your entire kit (stage 4 i think) In a year or so.

  • How do you turn it back on? Or does it turn back on automatically when you turn off the car?

  • This makes NO sense at all. I have an E46 M3 and all I do is push the DSC button for a second or so at any time! Even on the fly and it disables the DSC. I never heard of all this rigamoroll.

  • @bosundave The only time I had to do anything remotely similar was when I owned an e46 325Ci which, when the car was on, required you to hold the DSC button to turn off DSC+T. In my e46 M3, however, just pressing the DSC button turns off DSC+T on the fly since the M3 doesn't have the intermediate mode of Traction Control on but DSC off like the 325 and 330.

  • @bosundave Listen to the beginning of the video again...if the rear rims/tires are a different size the different speeds picked up by the sensors over a long period of time will make the DSC come back on. Stock cars won't ever run into this issue.

  • okayyyyy.. sooo how about turning it back on?? is it automatic or do ya have to repeat this procedure? hold it down for 12seconds to turn it back on?

  • nice... i know a few KEOF cycle procedure to reset and program other things on e46s...

nice video chris, keep up the good work... and check out my m3 @ 140 flying by a cop video in my channel

  • thats not a car. Thats a BEAST!!

  • Wow nice manly super fast car! but umm the heart effect at the end made it a little less manly :D

  • Would this work with none turbo M3's?

  • @mino8123 Yes, its actually something pretty well known...

  • Hmmmm, Thanks for the tip. So it wont come back on at all now when you start it?

  • Beast engine, sexy car!

  • how would you turn it back on?

  • @chocolatechunk12 I think if you turn of the car and pull the key out, the car will reset the DSC to be "on". So everytime you would like to drive the car with DSC off you must undergo this procidure everytime.

  • @chocolatechunk12 restart your car.
