Who ever said that I needed to personally be able to do something in order to judge the talent that someone else claims to bear? Not all critics excel in the area they critique in. I'm glad you were able to face reality when you accepted the fact that you're not as pretty as SNSD, for a minute there I began to think you had a tad bit of sense.
I brought up the looks thing not to insult you, but to prove a point in saying even if some of SNSD can't sing, they're gorgeous (surgery or not), and that is already enough to get far in the industry they're in. They are idols, which are slightly different that just a normal singer. Idols are brought up to be a package deal (looks, singing, dancing). In each group there WILL be people that excel in different things, not every single one of them needs to be the greatest singers.

no, SM picks their artists 9/10 times based on looks alone. Then they just train them. 7/10 of them can't sing, dance nor act. Taeyeon was an exception. She was probably not that great looking before entering SM. She probably go plastic surgery.

@bonk3rzz All together, smarts. If you wanna go by group, SM was lucky with DBSK and SHINee. f(x), the only one that stands out for me is Luna. Maybe Amber, but ehh. Rapping is not something exceptional to note. Everyone else there is kinda mehhh. SNSD is pretty much lame except for Taeyeon and Hyoyeon.

Moving on, I understand your point when you say that SM got lucky with DBSK and SHINee as they are extremely talented. However, you make it seem as if training does an artist absolutely no benefit whereas talent is all you need. Raw talent, unfortunately, won't get a person very far. Within their industry, looks are just as important as talent.

@annxiong DBSK and SHINee, without a doubt, have both looks in talent. SNSD, in your eyes, might not be as talented, but I wouldn't go as far to say that they are talentless. Out of curiosity I watched your video, and I'm sorry if I'm bursting your bubble, but at least half of the SNSD girls sing better than you. Not saying that you youself can't sing, rather that the SNSD girls are better. Again, no offense, they look better than you too.

@bonk3rzz offense is offense.I was 13 when I performed in my videos. How old is SNSD? 18-22. That's 5-7 years older. I'm not saying they suck, I'm saying half of them can't really do what their occupation says they do. They are singers and many of them can't even hold a candle to that. Besides Taeyeon, Tiffany, Seohyun, Jessica, and maybe Sunny. Of course! Plastic surgery and buckets of makeup do wonders! Why would a 13 year old wear makeup?

I brought up the looks thing not to insult you, but to prove a point in saying even if some of SNSD can't sing, they're gorgeous (surgery or not), and that is already enough to get far in the industry they're in. They are idols, which are slightly different that just a normal singer. Idols are brought up to be a package deal (looks, singing, dancing). In each group there WILL be people that excel in different things, not every single one of them needs to be the greatest singers.
