  • awesome

  • that. was. classic.

  • Wow they were neck n neck! Never seen them go so fast, great video!

  • Lol the Shoreliners were designed to make atleast 100MPH

  • I wonder if they were written up for this. They were drag racing, hell of a good video though

  • No doubt the m3 will be faster. The top speed for the m3 is 100mph. The top speed for the shoreliners is 0mph. And the top speed for the p32ac-dm would be 110mph.

  • the M3 will always be faster

  • @nichols15 Not always. Depends.

  • Awesome catch!

  • I know I am very picky and curios but is it me or does the m3a look shorter than the shoreliner. Or was that how the shot was taken. I know that both of them have to be atleast 12 feet and 8 inches. Weird because I have a picture from 1972 of an LIRR m1 and an r44 side by side and they were both the same height. The r44 is 12 feet and 1 inch. Did the m1 and m3 have their trucks raised at some point because I know the comet and shoreliner coaches are 12 feet and 8 inches.

  • Nice, 2 classics. M3a and shoreliner II. That was a very close race. Without the p32ac-dm, the shoreliners could not move, even if the engineer tried to. Nice catch.

  • This is epic!

  • Talk about head to head. Although since the M3a must be a local, the Bomb would've won in the end.
