United Airlines Business Class San Francisco to JFK New York B757 Premium Service (P.S.)

Thanks so much for posting this. I flew UA PS in F Class March of 2009 LAX-JFK, and I am getting 50,000 miles with United soon and if availability is good, we'll be flying Business Class SFO-LAX (in F) then connecting LAX-JFK on UA PS (Business) and was curious to see the difference between F and J. It looks awesome, and I am so excited, and hope when it's time to book the seat availability mileage wise will be there! Great Video!

Have to agree UA domestic PS service in business is very good. Flew SFO to JFK last June and it was excellent. Better than some International Business. Pity UA long haul business is not up to scratch.

There's not much choice of food at the lounges, Luftansa definitely has a better lounge (just comparing with your previous videos, but was that a first class lounge?) I miss my days of being a JFK based and working Premium transcons....Back when I was there though, we worked them on the 767-200's mostly pre 9/11... They were older but oh those boxy old seats were so cushy and comfy... People just loved that airplane!:)

Really like the PS product, I hope the changes they make are for the better. Would prefer that they install the IFE's that they have on their 747, 777 and 767 aircraft in biz and first. The hand held units are clumsy.

No matter where I go, I always like to land back home at SFO!!!

Yes, the PS product is very nice, and I agree with you that the IFE hand held units are painful. You can't watch your movie and eat because there is no place to put the hand held unit! Thanks for the comment!

Sfflyer - There is a daily scheduled 3 cabin 777 sfo-lax. I also had a 744 lax-sfo...5 pax total (since 4 hour delayed). Sat in 2A, takeoff so powerful (light on fuel/baggage/pax) that the forward F closet opened up and sent oxygen tanks flying down the aisle!

Love it! Great for an American Carrier's domestic business. In Europe the domestic business always seems to be the economy layout with the seat in the middle having a table on it. (never flown it just seen).

@irishrover99 This is a domestic trip report. Please see my trip reports: Lufthansa first FRA-DFW, Swiss SFO-ZRH and Singapore SFO-HKG. I get out of America plenty of times, probably more than most people ever leave their country. I travel internationally (not counting canada & mexico) about 4-5 times per year. Please see my other videos to see what international business & first is like. This is a small domestic 5 hour journey which you cannot compare to international long haul.

I actually enjoy row 9 because then I can go the bathroom without distrubing the aisle passenger. In first, if the aisle passenger is sleeping, you have to step over that person since they have lie-flat seats in first class.

I was on the Northwest 757-200 and it was great and my flight attendants were so nice. I'm also a New Yorker, but I live about an hour away from the city on Long Island. The city is nice, but all those broken sewer pipes smell awful!

@sfflyer123 You know i have a friend at work and he was having pains in his tummy all the time...his doctor has told his to stop drinking and also stop taking the paracetamols he was having everyday after blood tests and other stuff...his liver was starting to pack in, i found out he would have vodka and beer after he finished work cos he couldn't sleep. I watched the Hangover 2 on my flight to Bangkok last October...very funny :)
