i dont know if the sim racing tonight guys are familiar with the mx vs atv series...but they are famous for having a variety in their titles...like trophy trucks, dune buggies, etc...my favorite game of the series is def. unleashed, since you could fly planes! they should bring that feature back in the next game

seems that the graphics dont fit the year 2010. I hope at least for physics improvement. Rfactor 2 is necessarry but, for example if you play Richard Burns Rally from 2004 then you wil find out that this title does not need any follow up becouse it was done so realistic and so much more ahead.

just hope RF2 has a better lighting system than Rf had. NT01, NT02, NT03 all had enviromental reflection NT03 not as much as the previous ones but it looked better and the shadows awere better also. so why they dumbed it down in the first place is beyond me but hopefully RF2 will have better lighting, tire physics, better failures and hopefully clickable objects like flight sims have....Other than that I could post the ultimate sim dream but it would be a very long post.

i think all sim rigs should come standard with the shifter mount. it doesn't make sense that you have to pay extra for it. mouse tray, keyboard tray is understandable cuz not everyone would need the kb and mouse so close to them. but shifter tray???

One thing has been bothering me since i saw this episode on the rfactor website, just a minor note though:

The game is called "MX vs. ATV Reflex", not the other way around. It's the latest game in the MX vs. ATV -series (MX vs. ATV Unleashed & MX vs. ATV Untamed) The cover of the game has a bit of a misleading design..

Other than that, a great show once again! keep it up. been watching since the first episode. ;)

Reflex is actually a fun game once you get into it. I race motocross and Reflex has been the rage in the MX community since it came out...and if you are a MX'er...you don't even touch the other parts of the game(quad, buggy, truck)...it's all about the MX bikes.

Also, I had a Buttkicker gamer and the amp "blew up" on me after six months of use. I called Guttamer and they sent me out a new one free of charge. That's customer service right there!

@drweedon but crappy manufacturing ;) Buy cheap you buy twice. I bought High end speakers and sub, as well as amp and dont need a buttkicker, as my sub does the job and it was made by people who only make speakers, not things meant to vibrate your bum lol

Sadly I have to disagree. The show was great and I love what the guys do for sim racing but seeing rfactor 2 in such an early phase and on such inappropriate equipment was really disappointing. Its like early visual effects for a movie that will ultimately be great, the early footage does nothing to promote or enthuse you about the product. The long awaited interview was very flat and uninteresting, sorry Jess but its the guys that have the lifelong enthusiasm for this and thats what was needed.

Great show guys. 1 thing though, on the iracing forums you talked about that iRacing got hit by being build on a old engine. I was pretty suprised hearing you talk about engines the way you did at 34:00 in. Anyway, interesting show. I wonder how rFactor 2 will compare to the compitition :)

I'm mostly expecting rFactor 2 for grahical update and wide variety of real cars, like in most games like NFS:S have nice variety of cars but lousy engine.
