  • I wonder if any of you who bash gay people have ever meet at gay person and gotten to know them? The way you voice your oppinions make them out to be not more than mere beasts. These are still human beings who are the children of a mother and a father and have everyday lives. Even if you see homosexuality as a sin have you never heard of "hate the sin love the sinner"? It issn't nice to degenerate any human being what ever the circumstance. We all have our human dignity.

  • Unless Gene Robinson repents of his perversion, he is going to Hell! He is such a pathetic looking man.

  • Satan is just using the "gay mind set" to undermine God's blueprint for marriage. The fallen angelic spirit world continues to seek to be given the same value and position as Gods children through the rite of marriage. Angels can not procreate, and neither can same sex couples, the day that two people of the same gender can through their so call sexual union procreate than they can have a foundation to ask to be joined in marriage.

  • That day will never come, not even if Obama signs a million laws giving gays rights, it is biologically impossible for two gay men and or women to procreate and give birth to a gay male and or gay female

  • @voteyesonquestion1 Right. They can't procreate. Shit, we better take away the marriage licenses for those infertile couples. Lord knows this planet needs more babies anyways.

  • @voteyesonquestion1 Because that's why you got married? To pro-create. not start a family or proclaim the love you have for your wife.

  • Gayness is a byproduct of the human fall and a spiritual problem that can only dealt with by strengthening the God's family realm. The more true families emerge the base of resentment that is the cornerstone for satans authority will crumble. The problem with gay individuals is that their frame of reference is askew and they truly believe that they are in love, with their partner.

  • They have yet to experience the true freedom that comes from living in the principled realm. They are limited in their love experience just by the mere fact that they can not reproduce. Those who are "gay might receive a marriage license but they will never be part of a true holy matrimony ceremony which should become the standard for joining two, a male and a female into a holy union, that has the potential for the procreation of a family rooted in God.

  • Spread the word, live the standard of a Holy Union that become the dividing line between the secular standard of marriage and the Divine standard. The brighter God's realm becomes the stronger His light shines. The lower realms of tainted unprincipled love will be dimmed and eventually die. Through living God's blueprint for marriage that God gave in Genesis 1:28, the gay mindset will be abolished. Absolute sexual ethics will replace it!

  • Goodness me! Are Americans still coming to terms with gays and lesbians? A bit backward, isn't it? Or do I just not understand American culture.

  • Therefore, we may not live in a theocracy, but we do live in a democracy. the first amendment does not apply to voters. Pastors, clergy, and religious leaders have every right to convey and express their moral vision on to the public and into the voting process. Proposition 8 ,or any other amendment, did not and does not undermine the constitution because the government didn't put it into law, the people did, and whether they voted for it on religious grounds is no one's business but their own.

  • continuing....

for example, your side always mentions that if a pastor wants to discriminate against same sex couples in his church, he has a right under the first amendment. However, when it comes to civil marriage, he is subject to the law and doesn't have a right because civil marriage is about public policy. the same standard applies to your side on this issue.

  • In a private ceremony or church marriage, the state or society do not have a right to tell you who you can or cannot marry. however, as soon as you step outside the private realm of RELIGIOUS marriage and enter into the public sphere of CIVIL marriage, you are subject to the law and public opinion or vote because civil marriage is about public policy.
