Honestly I found the missions with fluzzard to be obscenely stupid, he never dives fast enough to get the first star just blows right by it.

I rememder that I always kept missing that second star because of depth perception. But so far I have gotten all stars without help and I am on world S. I think I have 227 stars.

@ff21592 Yes he can, but in this game, Mario and Luigi share a Star count.

@Gizzmoiz You just have to get 120 Stars as Mario and beat Bowser in the Galaxy Generator. You can do this on the same save file.

@channel4squares you find the first one in buoy base galaxy where you'll have to make the torpedo ted (underwater bullet bill) chase you and hit the glass covering around the pipe at the bottom of the body of water. The second one you find in dusty dune galaxy where all you'll have to do is find the hungry luma on "the sunbaked sand castle" task. The last one is found in the battlerock galaxy once you get the letter from Luigi telling you that he's there hes trapped under where the gold star was

Of all of the green stars in the game, I felt that this one and the second green star of boo moon were the most nefariously hidden (I.E. you can't hear them). Speaking of which, may I request boo moon's green stars (or, if you prefer, its hidden star, which also gave me a bit of trouble xD)?

@channel4squares Green stars In Super Mario Galaxy 1 are hidden in a certain lvl in each galaxy. The only thing to unlock is the lvl its just hidden in. :)
