You should also signal for your exit so people waiting to get inside the roundabout do not need to read your mind.

if this is right then a rule is different in the uk, when going straight across we stay in the outside lane

@matthewfoong You can use the inside lane to go 'straight on' if the car to your left is turning left or if it is a dual carriageway with two lanes to exit when going straight on.
