The Cox Family were the perfect vehicle for this beautiful and gentle ballad, with their impeccable 1993 rendition, produced & arranged by Alison Krauss. The song was penned by Dickey Lee and Allen Reynolds. Dickey Lee had some pop-chart hits, 1962-'65 and also enjoyed a successful career as a Country singer-songwriter in the 70s and 80s. Lee wrote or co-wrote many major Country hits including "She Thinks I Still Care" & "The Keeper Of The Stars"...a CMA "Song Of The Year".

The COX family is singing the song - they had a few albums in the 90's and two of them are among my all time favorites. Suzanne Cox should have been a big star with that voice.
