OK, lets get one thing clear: Honour killings are NOT allowed in Islam. Go and read any history text book and you will see that the prophet Muhammad was very strongly opposed to the murder of women. And there is a set of Human rights in Islam. Muslim women were free from forced marriage, could participate in government, and could earn and keep their own money even in marriage. THIS WAS AT A TIME WHEN WOMEN IN EUROPE COULD NOT VOTE.
