I always thought one should use a weight which was heavy enough that one should reach failure in 6-10 reps for the isolated exercise and only about 3-4 reps in the compound exercise when super setting. Did you mean to do so many reps in that 1st set, or did you miscalculate the weight. Once you start doing sets of 12-15 reps, you're starting to risk reaching aerobic failure instead of muscular failure, aren't you? I'm not being a smart-ass...it's a legitimate question.
@BrickhouseB2-- I miscalculated the weight slightly on the first set-I intended to do 7-10 reps. I raised the weight 10 pounds from my previous workout, but still ended up completing 13 reps, so looking back on it I should have raised it more, but since I went to failure it's all good. I wouldn't worry about aerobic failure on any set of 15 or less though, I doubt too many people would be so out of breath at 13 reps that they would be forced to stop before reaching muscular failure.

@HighIntensityNation Thanks for your reply. And congrats on having such a great improvement from your previous workout!
You're right, I realize, about the aerobic failure. One set to failure of 15 surely wouldn't do that.
I love your channel & hope you keep up the great work. It's informative and motivating. Thanks.
