Killer song! TOo bad these guys couldn't make it huge, these guys should've been the ones that gotten the success for changing the sound of rock 'n roll instead of Nirvana
@Doobie1975 wouda been a diferent world nirvana was responsible for the age of weak minded feeble fingered i hate myself and this diapointing world ugh!!!!! what about some hard rockin soulfull blues ? where wooould we be
I was in high school when this song came out. I still love most of the music from that time, but this one holds a special spot. I wore two cassettes out listening to this album and now I cannot find it anywhere. Amazing band.
Saw this when it came out in 91... First guitar slinger I'd seen in a long time that wasn't wearing spandex... And wonderful to see a band with TWO southpaws.... Love the metal hooks.... Great mix of styles, and the fat tones coming from Gale's Axe are perfection..
I remember meeting hi at El Mocambo when this came out, such laid-back guys. His brother also plays 'upside down' bass . They had some support, but a lot of status quo record industry guys didn't really want to push blazing black rock guitarists, let alone a whole band. Tony McAlpine was another one. Heavy video if you look at the whole imagery & lyrics. Awesome guitarist! what tone!
Still enjoy this CD to this day, every tune is rockin and stompin', I thought for sure Eric was to be the next Hendrix and SRV, but he also had a hint of Robin Trower, EXCELLENT guitarist :D (what, he was about 17 when he did this album? Amazing). Excellent vocals too :) Looks to be the same Director who did many Queensryche vidz ("Empire"). . .
This album was so good it's not even funny. It even sounds good today. Eric still releases an album every couple of years - his stuff is more traditional blues now.
Great song, as good as I remember it being when it first came out. I reckon a double bill of these guys and King's X would have been pretty mighty.

I really wish there were more musicians like Eric Gales, and less pop tarts who lean on autotune.

I was in the recording studio when it was taped. I used to hang around with Rick Ruhl, frontman for Everymother's Nightmare.

Blazing guitar work, but all that tragic 90s reverb on the drums hurts my brain.
