Thanks so much for your comments. I lost my father in 2006 and I do think of him often when I hear or play this song. As I get older it seems to take on more and more meaning.
hey man i agree i lost mine in 2000 to an over dose i feel ya and every time i hear this i think whats in the past and how it is for the future!keep it rollin brother !
Bobby B. this is one of my most favorite songs by Neil Young and you did a most excellent job of it. I lost my father in 2004 and whenever I hear this song, it brings me great memories of him. I'm a drummer, but secretly wish I could play guitar.
Great job and I look forward to seeing and hearing more from you.
no offend to anyone bot actually i liked this verstion more than the original, its more close to myn understanding of the ideal version of this song, good job to the singer though. any ways my opinion n o offend to anyone
Hey, that's still a great compliment! All musicians strive to always play with "soul" I have my moments, but with this song, in the end, it's Neil Young and not me. No one can ever truly convey a piece like the original artist. I'm only trying to celebrate one of my most beloved songwriters. Thanks for commenting!
