Take the information for what it is worth. And the info on this vid is good. It is the bands money that pays for the video. They need to look good on screen and need to be consulted for ideas. They are the one who know their fan base and have aesthetics in their music and image. The music video needs to sell the band to the public and not have up nostril shots and double chin shots of the band members. LOL Some director will only think of their portfolio and the narrative they want to shoot.
this is not making a music video, this is concept and story planning, if your going to teach how to make a video you should do it correct and not mislead people, you dont explain shots, sequence, framing, lighting, sync, release forms, location release forms, insurance, permits, mechanical license rights, formats, I can keep going and going! I haven't mentioned editing or any post production or props, color schemes, staging and basic laws, what about closed caption? your very misleading
