  • By far my FAVORITE version of this show I've seen, ever. As soon as I heard my school was doing this show, I looked it up and your version was the one I clicked on. I must admit, I watch this at least three times a week. I always get the songs stuck in my head. You guys did such an AMAZING job, and I can only hope that my school can do it as well as you! I'm extremely excited for opening night.:D

  • I ALWAYS CRY AT THE END

  • Standing ovation to "The Man in the Chair"... I have only just discovered this musical by accident and for an amatuer and youth theatre group... WOW! I am incredibly impressed. Well done, everyone.

  • Very, very good job everybody! I enjoyed every moment of it. The pit orchestra was great too! Well done :)

  • So I just watched the whole show, sitting here in our house without power with a single flashlight next to my laptop monitor. This production had a frickin' talented cast, and the costumes were amaaaazing! :D (I might be doing this production with a local youth theater soon, but I've heard that their costumes are not very high-quality D:)

Thanks so much for showing me how amazing this production is, I'll feel really blessed if I manage to be cast as a lead :D

  • I was wondering if Man In Chair would get to sing at all. :D

  • This is absolutely amazing! I just got my cast list today and I was cast as Tottendale. I'm so excited! Brava!

  • @gogoboots26 Is it Cienega Hgh School? I'm going to be Feldzieg. Congrats on Tottendale!

  • What an amazing production! Thank you so much for posting this musical on Youtube, My college will be holding auditions for this, this December and you've given me a better idea what the show and characters will be like. I've listened to the soundtrack a million times now but had little to no idea what the plot actually was. I just hope we can be half as good as your school!

  • My high school is doing this for our state one-acts. I dont know how we r going to cut it down to 40 mins but i really want to be Man In Chair

  • @MusicManAKAMrBWAY If you're going to be Man in Chair, be yourself...within reason. The more personal you make the character, the more you'll connect to the audience.

  • This was so amazing!!!! The cast is so talented!!!! My school is performing this musical this spring and I hope we can do it this well!!!

  • @TrebleClef514 Thanks for the kind comments! Good luck with your school's production : )

  • @TrebleClef514 is it Cienega High School? I'm going to be Feltzieg in Cienega's production this spring. I hope we come close to this level of awesome. It won't be in the round, but I'm sure we'll have fun. Thanks for putting your's on youtube. I enjoyed it a lot!

  • @QueenBoadicea I am glad that you enjoyed it : )

  • What a lovely production! Thanks for uploading it here.

  • What are the uke chords for this bit in this song? I can't find it on the web anywhere, and really want to teach my friend who is playing Mrs. T for our show later this month. Amazing Production!

  • @sophiedog2011 I'll try and find out from our Mrs. T. I'll get back to you asap.

    - Man in Chair

  • @kablary Thankyou! Much appreciated!

  • Also, younger Underling and Tottendale really grew on me. c:

  • Brilliant! Fantastic! You should all be SO proud of yourselves! I'm clapping at my computer! I loved it! And it just makes me want to go out and find somewhere this is playing because you guys look like you had so much fun! I saw this on Broadway years ago and I had long since forgotten many of the small yet hilarious ins and outs...this really takes me back. Thank you so much, and wonderful job again!

  • @dragonsonrockets Thank you so much for such kind words! We all had a really great time with this show and it will always be one that I hold very close to my heart : )

  • That was absolutely WONDERFUL! I'm going to be playing in the pit for this musical in the spring, and I had never seen it before. I was terrified that it would end with 'I Do In The Sky', and the 'As We Stumble Along' reprise was a delightful surprise. :D Thank you so very much for posting this entire musical up on YouTube.

  • What are the uke chords?

  • hahaha this show is great... i might be doing it this summer! woop! i either wanna be aldolpho or man in chair, but everyones hilarious so it doesnt really matter haha

  • I just got the part of George and after watching this I figured I actually do have a big part :) ahah thanks for posting!

    -Man in Chair

  • this is really moving brought back all memories of seeing it in west end

  • okay this is great!!! i had to watch the whole thing haha, im in highschool now and gonna try out for a part in the drowsy chaperone so it was very helpful watching this. any advice about it? :D

  • @littlemissdramatic24 just have fun with it and don't be afraid to take risks!

  • That was incredibly good! I just had to watch the entire thing! Was this a high school? Cause if so, it's a high school with a damn good drama program.

  • @virginiarules510 haha funny you should say that...this program is by no means associated with the el segundo high school other than the fact that most of the actors either attend or attended high school there. This is actually a Youth Drama program that has actors and actresses ranging from 12-18 years old

  • @irishdramanerd Well, they were really good. Especially your Aldopho!

  • @virginiarules510 Thank you very much! That really means a lot

  • I was just looking up videos of this show to prepare for auditioning for it, and I really enjoyed watching all of yours! Thanks so much for posting this, it was great fun!

  • This was absolutely amazing! The singing was beautiful, the dancing was gorgeous and the acting was spot on! I'm going to be in a production of The Drowsy Chaperone in December and this makes me even more excited for it. All the people involved in this should be truly proud of themselves. Very professional and an overall stunning performance! Awesome job! :D

  • @katieO303 thank you so much! It is always nice to get a compliment like this. I hope you have as much fun with your production as I have had with this one!

  • @TheJLBlove Thank you for such a generous compliment!! And yes this was a Youth Theater production with ages ranging from 12 to 18. Good luck with your audition! This was one of my favorite shows to perform in and I hope you get to experience everything that I did! : )
