First of all, thank you to everyone for commenting, glad you like the vid. Secondly, Marti makes a valid point, of course this bike will not power wheelie stock like a 250F mx bike, a 250F mx bike will not do 90 mph. Im sure if you geared it down you could get some thing similar, but your going to throw away your highway riding and fuel economy.... I can still go out and womp on this thing around town and such and average 65mpg, i'll call that pretty awesome.

For one if thats all your worried about in a bike then maybe you should buy a motorcycle and two asking if a bike can power wheelie is a dumb question... i can power wheelie my little cousins yz80 that doesnt make it a almighty wheelie machine. its a matter of what gear you want to wheelie in, your weight and your skill... stop asking dumb questions

Do you own a wrX? wondering b/c i want to get one and wanted to know if u could get it to pop up without completely killing the clutch at 50+mph. i want i bike i can stunt on/hooligan, get good gas mileage going to work and back, and still keep up with 600's on group rides thru the twisties.. been riding for years

@125sxking i dont own one but iv ridden one and owned all sorts of bikes from WR450's to GSXR750's... a WR250X is a great bike dont get me wrong but if you want a bike to keep up with 600's and do wheelies 50+ this isnt the bike you you... the WR250X has barely 30HP thats less then 1/4th the power output of even the slowest 2010 600 sportsbike. then again thats not the main goal of this WR250X its a great bike, its just not the bike you will be going 150mph on and doing 70MPH wheelies :)

@LGenVision , It can't power wheelie with me on it. But I weigh 200lbs. And its geared different to a yz 250f, so thats prob the biggest reason why. A 250f won't break 90mph.

I don't know which bike to buy, this one or a XT660x and then restrict the power the first couple of years (in my country you aren't aloud to drive over 25 kw untill youre like 21, but the gouvernement is planning to raise that to 24 years old) what's this bike overall? You have enough power to like, drive easily on the motorway (like 120 - 130 km/h?) Not that this bike is made for a motorway, but for example =) please let me know

This bike is something around 18 kw. Its a good bike and this version is made for the road. Yamaha makes the R for the dirt. It will do 120-130 kph I've had mine up to 148 kph with me on it, more then enough then you'd want to do on such a small bike. still a ton of fun.

My brother has a Duke II that bike is like a blunt club, compared to the 250 sword. the Duke is def more fun on straits, pulling out of corners, but the 250 is more agile.

5'8" i have a 29" inseam and I can put the ball of my feet down. So depends on how long your legs are

im about 5'8'' aswell, tbh i think you'll struggle although i have heard these bikes can be lowered a bit, but maybe still not enough for you, maybe the vid's author could tell you about lowering, try to sit on one, see if your too short.
