@tfmuggleblood It takes some practice (I'm still learning new things every day), but you will get the basics down very quickly. You can only improve! Hope to see some photos of you soon. Let me know.
i dont know much ... but its not what people think its not what you think that makes a picture good its how it makes you feel ... you have some really good ones but then some just look like you just lifted the camera and pushed the shutter button... keep it up try some classes they really help on makeing you take better pictures .... you have a very nice camera ... i wish to you goodluck
@monkeymangonewild Yeah, when you zoom in and out in some of these they do look like simple point and shoots. I guess you'd have to view them whole. You can check out my blog for some of my recent work. This was all taken two years ago. Blog: mersad-photography.blogspot.com
@makingmenudo Yes. It's a great beginner camera. You can get it for a good price. It really is a great place to start. I taught me a lot. After 4 years with it I'm now moving on to the Canon 7D. It comes greatly recommended by me.
@makingmenudo Sure. With sports you just have to use a fast shutter speed (which this camera can) to "freeze" the moment and capture a sharp image. Also a good lens would be great, but you don't have to go there right at the beginning. USe the one that comes with the camera first to get familiar with it.
Hi, OK thanks. Have the chance of picking one up as a spair for around 150 euros and was thinking of getting it at that price!!. Thanks for getting back to me. Best regards.
@EssentalFx Thank you for the comment. The 350D is actually a pretty good camera. Then again you can have the 550D and make crappy photos. I guess it depends on who makes them (not to blow my own horn) :)

My dad got this for me. It's gonna be my first dslr, do you think I can adjust easily into it, or will it take some time?

Were any editing programs used?

@4Alpha7Kilo For the HDR shots I used Photomatix, and the other images have some contrast or color adjustments, but no major pp. Just the basics.
