@MrOutsider82 what are you on about? if he left school at 18 and went to uni he would never have been a good songwriter. to be a good songwriter you draw from lifes experiances. a 18 year old who leaves school and goes straight into the real world has alot more to say that someone wearing a cardigan and plimsoles with a gay hair cut and a dissitation.

You British spend a lot of time criticizing one another and being absolutely foul to each other. Why not just let one another feel what they do and just get on with your own life? Why, in the scheme of things, does it matter what you all think about one another and Prince Harry and Afg? Why not just sort your lives out and not insult one another for believing what you do and being who you are? I know a few British girls who are so angy and aggressive and foul mouthed, and they love to argue!

You're aggression and arguing and foul tempers toward one another defines you? What does it mean when you say, "We're not blind?" Why fight to prove a point that in the realm of things is quite useless. Why not just be you and let others be them? I just don't understand how being so rude to people you don't know can be good, or that you will relent that it "defines" you. Is it because you're couped up on an Island with a queen? Is there resentment? Move to Canada or Aust. they have lots of room
You consider a character trait of anger and quick temper a "culture?" I would think the English theatre, the fabulous music, the very old architecture and history, it's very literal communication, etc... would be far better manifistations of culture. You are right though, making a generalization about the nasty, foul mouthed, angry people is a bit unfair.
