signias have a lot of attack. check out the videos her of a dude name igor willcox playing a signia. they kinda sound similar to this kit- very punhcy bass drum. and I have the same set- but in a 24/14/16/5.5x14 set up. rock on, sounds good.

It would be better to learn everything you can on single pedal instead of relying on the double bass every time you lay a beat. You really dont need the db pedal as much as you think
