Fine for this particular report BUT-- if the city CCTV surveillance wanks in this video are anything like that ones that I'm researching through Freedom of Information, they have no oversight (none at all "no responsive records") --no one looking into their conduct and operations. Here in Ontario, while the average mall guard is subject to provincial standards, Code of Conduct -and especially a provincial complaints process, municipal "in-house" guards are exempt from accountability. AND act it.

From bitter experience here in our own city (Ontario, Canada) the citizens of Middlesbrough, England might do well to drop down some Freedom of Information requests on how video surveillance is handled in their city. I did just that and discovered there's no one monitoring our "Big Brother". Not even a formal complaints process. Even our Provincial Guidelines for Video Surveillance ignored. With a mayor called "Robocop", citizens just might discover (as I did) that "Big Brother" is a Bully!

also, all other procedures must have been tried. then you can go to the judge and ask for a strike/protest ^^

The reason law enforcement isn't respected much in society is because of the "everyone's a suspect" mentality. You used to go to the police and ask for help when someone was violating your rights. Now you go, and YOU get questioned. Police today are used by a government that only cares about collecting fines, profiting from our prison systems, an spying on everyone.
