  • Great video keep up the good work.

  • thum up!

  • I like bread only !

  • vật liệu này là thứ gì vậy ??

  • @quangdangSPKT nylon

  • @davethearchivist công nghệ này tớ tưởng chỉ dùng cho kim loại thôi chứ.Thank you very much!!

  • I can make it in autodesk 3d studio in less than the time it takes this video to complete, lol!

  • @faostube Yeah but you still dont have a part - and this is a functinal part.. The process is you model it, then make it right?

  • @1tonyluz1 That is the idea ... the real work is done when you "design" the piece to be cut. This is where measurements are calculated, etc. The CNC machine just spits out the end result of all the hard work. However, you are right, nothing beats holding the finished product in your hands and seeing it on a screen. :)))

  • @1tonyluz1 I have a question if you can answer it for me: when you are designing and you know the number of teeth and the diameter of the worm wheel you want, is there any formula like to get the starting diameter that after all the work at the lathe is gonna bring as a result the final diameter according to the design. I mean if I want a diameter of 6.5 " I need to start from something a bit bigger, but how bigger, that's the question?

  • boring

  • I like bread and I like machines!

  • it looks like teflon which can be used for bearings also

  • Hey, thats impressive! How did you do it?

  • I use delron, its awesome stuff

You should be able to cut this a lot faster

  • 

  • thumbs up if you like 29 tooth helical gears that use emc2 with handground flycutters to replace a worn gear from a bread dough making machine!

  • that's TEFLON plastic, better than nylon...

  • this is a nylon boy

  • what material is the gear? UHMW? Delron? Looks like wax for a casting? Thanks for posting!!!

  • It is nylon as far as I know

  • Thanks for the reply! Looks like a lot of fun! I hope to read up more on CNC, to learn a lot more about it. I enjoyed all your videos, Thanks! J.

  • @davethearchivist

if it was nylon, wasn't more simple to create it in a press?

  • @Viustel then you would need to make a press tool! so for a one off cut it, think about tooling and set up time

  • @CuriousEarthMan Yeah, nylon or UHMW are more likely than Delrin. I've machined Delrin at work and there were hardly any burrs. Nylon and UHMW tend to be nasty to machine, as you can see in the video. gets all stringy. Delrin actually makes a chip. It's a little more expensive, but the ease of which it machines is worth the money.

  • @SuperChevytrucks i would fater machine 12l14 than uhmw i machine a lot of it and hate it very stringy.

  • @CuriousEarthMan seems like nylamid

  • beautiful.

  • you are the weirdo just for saying that

  • Exelente maquina amigo, fijate que nosotros para no tener problemas con las rebabas en piesas de plastico, les ponemos topes de madera, eso evita tallarlas despues.

    Saludos.

  • Kinda look like it's a optical cutting illusion?
