I predict that Ivy's ex effed with the car cuz Nate was supposed to be in that car. If you notice the license plate. I think Tripp paid the Ex to do it so Nate would have to miss the Camp Allen Retreat. Blair and Chuck got into the wrong car and paparazzi made the car spin out of control causing what would have been just car trouble into a major crash. I'm more curious about what is going on with Jack Bass and Diana - Blood relative of Chuck's maybe?... Other theories, anyone?

Because of the Vanderbilt scandalous love child - Chuck, Diana was sent away (Vanderbilt's have an image to protect - I'm also guessing that some SERIOUS Vanderbilt/Bass investment agreements are tangled in this little web of lies as well. Therefore, the Bass' we requiredto keep the secret or Bass industries goes to the Vanderbilt's.

@chzza125 Remember Diana only came back at Vanderbilt's request - the only way she'd be able to return to the UES by the terms of their agreement). The 'us' she refers to are her and Grandfather. Liz Fisher was there in the midst of her triangle between Jack and Bart and was asked if she'd be willing to pretend to be Chuck's mother for the cover up. She agreed but didn't want children so she fled soon after. also explains why Bart treated Chuck more like a liability than a son his entire life.

this scene really makes me cry...that's the scene every chair fan has been waiting for since 5x01....Chuck is so amazing and he loves Blair so much he doesn't even care her baby is "Louis'" why can't Blair just admit it's Chucks'? Would be easier for us chair fans to handle :) but clearly, this scene is so amazing. My heart melted when Chuck says I wanna come with you... They belong together...they always have and always will. Love them so much. Really, Chair makes Gossip Girl..
