  • i was right i messed up 70 times

  • i bet i can probably mess it up

  • So I ran into a situation while practicing. What happens if at the end a person pulls over the 2 cards and one is a queen and the other is a King. I tried counting 10 + 12 + 13 cards out but ran out of cards.

  • @xcef2005 Never mind I figured it out. Duh

  • Mind = Blown.

  • Their reaction at 4:02 was awesome....

    My reaction was HOLY SH**

  • @sonogo1 This happened to me too. What I did was do the trick by myself while he's showing you how to do it. When I did that it worked great. Give it a shot.

  • @MrDASASCO thank you very much for help. I found my mistake: I tend to keep the remaining cards that don't make a new set aside, when keeping them with the other collected cards it is working great.

    Thank you again.

  • lol i won twenty bucks off my mom...well, i lost it when i wouldn't tell her how it works...

  • @airsoftjedi No jack is 11 Queen is 12 and King is 13

  • @SpARtiNGFX thanks this helped alot

  • @airsoftjedi Jack = 11, Queen = 12, King = 13

  • at 0:53 I have those same drink coasters!

  • What??

  • i totally did not get it

  • Thanks brian for the great math trick :)

  • @boumbh Nice explanation.

Its easy to decode a trick in maths. But imagine the level of thinking of the person who invented this trick!! I admire his work.

  • @MenTaLLyMenTaL I agree. However, the person who invented this trick did it at least 20 years ago. It's like a good old joke, it is eternal, sometimes we wonder who created it, the guy must be some kind of genius but we will never know...

  • just shit myself

  • i made 2 piles D: its doesnt work

  • first

  • i failed this trick showing it to my friend. i hate you

  • @TheBoomkaboom how?

  • @TheAceOfSpades9999 i forgot how to do the actual gessing part

  • i got number but its lower by 1 everttime why? sorry poor english

  • darn i screwed up xD

  • Works every time! You do have to use 3 piles at the end or it doesn't work.

  • are there any way to predict the colour or the card too?? i will bw great if you say the suit of the card.

  • @jorgemms No way for predicting colour as far as I am aware unless you set up deck and that defeats the object of the exercise since the major strength of this effect for me is that the spec shuffles. I use marked 'medieval tarot' cards. Thus I could have the spec cover 'future' card with hand and after I divine value of the tarot card I then take peak for suit and reveal whole identity as if I knew from the very start (!) One could do this with a Boris Wild normal card deck.

  • @norrisonthespot great, a marked deck is great to divine the suit, i made it with other metod that is writing in your arms the 4 suits and depending the suit of the card after reveal the value you show the top of your left arm, the bottom of your right arm.... you can wath this performance in my channell, is in spanish but only watching you can understand it.

  • Use tarot cards.Have 'Death' (13) act as the guide.Demo.Turn your back whilst the piles are created by spec and all turned face down. All but three of the piles gathered together and placed on any 'discard' cards.Spec uses 'discard pile' to form a clock face around the three piles until cards exhausted. You count as the spectator lays the clock face. They turn over first pile 'past' card and second pile 'present' card. Then in your mind minus 10+value of two cards. 'Future' pile top card revealed.

  • 271th....lol

  • Word of advice...don't hand Bee Erdnase cards to spectators.

  • @magicguitarman100 why o.O ?

  • Yeah? I screwed it up xD

  • Nice word for a change.

  • I screwed up... I had 51 cards in my deck :(

  • first

  • スゴイ!!!!

    ファリスト!

  • YOU CAN MESS. I DID. I RAN OUT OF CARDS WHILE MAKING THE 7 PILES. TOO MANY LOW CARDS

  • @EasyExpertVillage you're not supposed to make a certain number of piles. you just keep making piles until there's not enough cards to make one

  • @EasyExpertVillage You don't have to make 7 piles. He said if you have leftovers just discard them.

  • @scamschool

How do you make the piles after the cards get shuffled? Im confused...

  • @MrDcool1200 make 7 piles by placing a first card down. whatever that card is count up until 13. example the first card is 5 then count up each card by 6,7,8,9,10,j,q,k. make 7 piles of that. it's in the video man. it's not that confusing. maybe the 7 piles. otherwise watch the video

  • DO YOU GUYS STIILL MAKE THE LIVE VIDEOS?????

  • This trick has not worked for me once.

  • @midgetwars1 Make sure you don't forget the extra cards you put aside because there aren't enough to make another pile on step 1

  • 4:20 is supposed to be a good time. In this case it's an advertisement. Like if you know what I mean.

  • is it just me, or did those people look as bored and annoyed as a straight man at a all gay party

  • Adios mio

  • @Herbie2568 Um... Es Ay dios mio... Adios mio would mean just Goodbye mine.. :S At least, I think.

  • Those other people looked like they were bored and didn't care... just there for the video.

  • Phirst :P.

  • i thought he was sarcastic

  • where is veronica belmont?

  • 10 people screwed up

  • There! You happy Brushwood???!!!

  • It's me again.

The nicest words are Rainbow Ponycorn Pegasis!!! Hooray!!!

  • I'm not the FIRST to comment on this FIRST video of the week. Maybe I'll be FIRST on the next video. By the way I was the FIRST to say the word FIRST 5 times. And no one else can be FIRST but me on the next video. Now I've said FIRST 7 times!!!!!!!

  • pudding is a nice word

  • I try like 20 times following the steps one by one, and it doesn't work for me.

sometimes the # of cards in the final peel is lower than 10+ the two revealed cards.

sometimes I end up with three cards and the unrevealed card terns to be 4 or 7 or what ever but not 3.

anyone other having problems doing the trick?

  • @sonogo1 Make sure you have 52 cards in the deck.

  • @susp1 Thank you for responding, I checked that. still nothing.

  • @sonogo1 Make sure all 52 cards are there. Also make sure there are no jokers in the deck.

  • @TylerCapozzi So the whole deck without jokers is 52?

  • @Batabatbata The whole deck without jokers is 52. 13 values x 4 suits = 52

  • @TylerCapozzi Thanks.

  • Scam school, the only school dedicated to pissing you off with ads :)

  • what the hell does that mean

  • Nice word.

  • First

  • i wana see more bar tricks and less card tricks

  • @gamemak0r I don't

  • 4) Actually, I'll do one more comment to clear things up.

In (3), I said you keep 13 cards out of the final prediction pile, but it's really 14 (I didn't count the faceup card itself).

You do this with 2 of the 3 table packs, so 28 (14*2) are dealt down.

You also put down 10, so 28+10=38 cards not in final prediction pile.

52-38=14. 13 more cards are going to be under the card on the table (like, the 8 would have 5 under it and then 8 dealt later [13] ). 14-13=1. The last 1 card the predictor.

  • 1) Here's how to solve this trick backwards.

Take out 3 kings and put them facedown on the table. You now have a pile of 3 kings, and a 'discard' pile of 49 cards (52-3). Deal down 10 cards, like in the video. You now have 39 (49-10) cards in hand, 10 down. Turn a card over. Of course, it's a king, so deal down 13. You now have 26 (39-13) cards in your hand. Turn over last king, so deal another 13. This leaves you with 13 (26-13) cards left, which is the value of the king.

  • 2) But that's only with 3 kings. What if you had something different, like 2 kings and a queen? Let's say you flip over the kings, but it doesn't matter. You start with 52 cards, but have 4 on the table [K, K, Q+1]. The +1 is because it's a Queen: a Q pile will have 2 cards in it. (Q=12)+1=13. So, 4 down, and you have 48 left. Deal 10 cards, and you have 38. Flip the two kings, and you have 38-26, or 12, which is a queen.

  • 3) Do this with any combination, and it works, _because the way the table piles are set up always means that 13 cards will not be in the final 'prediction' pile_ .

If you had a 7 on the table, it has 6 cards behind it. Since it's 7, you deal down 7 cards. 6+7 = 13, you've basically kept 13 cards from not being in the final prediction pack.

Hope it made sense! I could explain more but I already wrote too much.

PM me if you want the whole explanation.

  • How. The. Hell

  • ok so do the ppl always pick three pilkes? or do u flip over how many ppl r there?
