  • Actually, this movie is pretty badass. It's one of those things that if it was remade with updated special effects and production it would be a killer sci/fi horror film.

  • @10072018 yes it is badass... for the today! in these times that movie was great!

today we got better effects dumbass! that movie was created before computer! wich means they had to do their best without tecnology

  • A battle in space against spaceless beings...

  • what was the italian actress again? alotta fagina?

  • awesome film !!!

classic early sci fi, it even has a cheezy party / disco in it - lol

  • The music would actually be classified as "Psychedelic"; "Disco" wasn't around in 1968, and grew out of Soul and Funk in the mid-1970s.

  • heh, that may be the case but if you were to classify the music now it would be called disco :P

  • No, it wouldn't. The song was written to emulate the popular rock style of the late 1960s called "Psychedelic". Disco is dance music, and the theme to this film was done in a rock/pop style. Look it up.

  • calm down dear, its only a commercial - lol

  • LOL! You're assuming that I'm upset. Which is funny, because you can't see or here me. Just like you assume your facts without knowing what you're talking about. I was just trying to help you out.

BTW, "early sci-fi" movie would be A TRIP TO THE MOON, made in 1902, which was the first, BTW. LOL!

  • heh, aww i love youtube :)

  • This is 1969 not the 70s. Great trailer, but cheesy movie. This is rated G because of the adventure and action. It is rated PG in todays world,I think. The space station looks like a chicken but spaced out. weak efects but ok film. ;-)

  • this came out a year after 2001 guess the special effects for space films diminished .

  • This should be illegal.

  • cheesy but i loved it! once watched it during a sci fi marathon when i was a kid. it actually scared me at the time! lol

  • Love the end of this trailer, Green Slaiiime!!!

  • Thanks for that little tidbit of info; greatly appreciated.

  • The director of this movie is Kinji Fukasaku who wound up making Battle Royale. I'm eventually going to make a review of his work and he's a legendary filmmaker. Tarantino had him on the set of Jackie Brown, just to hang out.
