Gill cryptonyte is chun Li all you have to do is walk up close to him and hold down and fierce kick where she kicks out both legs. repeat over and over ...why does it work because chun Li is faster than he is, another weakness is using urine just play with him and Gill doesnt know how to fight normally.. I hope this works becuz the cpu be playing like a bitch with Gill giving him fake cheated wins by umpossible moves.

could not have said it better myself man; SHE IS Gill's Kryptonite. Gill is always easier to beat with her than all other characters because, as I pointed out, Gill is vulnerable to "the body as a missile" attacks that aim at the middle portion.

for you SF fans still playing this game; Gill is weak in the gut.

hope that helps, word of warning though, you need real skill to maneuver well enough to hit him there consistently. Unique, okay not so unique, among SF characters, Gill has no kick or punch, that protects that area, whereas other SF characters do. I spotted that design flaw when I beat him with Chun Li a while back.

Elena, Dudley, Chun Li, Akuma, and Makoto basically all the characters that have a very strong attack to the mid section. I FINALLY got an undefeated run again; it had been years since I played this, revisited it lately on MAME and FINALLY got some of my skills back. To beat it undefeated with anyone else, Ryu for instance, to beat Gill after an undefeated run you have to be practically zen-like. Fucked up how cheap he is, and how zen-like YOU, the player, have to be.

I used to hate that damn Resurrection super that Gill had - until I launched a Shinkuu Hadouken at him with Ryu out of pure frustration ("NO! NOT AGAIN!" I said while I fired it). Now he is nothing to me.

I actually tried Raging Demon'ing his ass while he was using Resurrection once. Don't remember if it hit though.

Only LK Tatsu will allow you to juggle the opponent with an FP Goshoryuken. You can also land MK Tatsu -> MP Shoryuken, but the timing is tight.

Nope...not in Third Strike...only air hurricane kicks can combo into shoryukens :(

It's possible with Akuma, as his normal hurricane kick has the lifting property which Ken and Ryu only have with air hurricanes.

In fact, a popular bread and butter Akuma combo is jump-in FP, crouch MK, LK hurricane kick, FP shoryuken.
