This song has all the essence of an early 80's new wave song in every way possible. An awesome song with great musicianship. I like the bass in this song as I do in all of their songs. Sandy kicks ass in bass.
@TheExeter - True. The new wave sound is riveting - still. 1983 was about the last year of the great new wave songs. While the Spoons did not have the major success as Men Without Hats, they still were very popular in Canada at the time.
This band is totatally underated, perhaps my favourite canadian band, Vertigo Tango the best CD. This song is also very beautiful, enjoy.
