We had a gramophone at home in Gujrat. I use to hear this song 78 RPM record daily. It was front-back Part 1 Part 2 song. Very strong childhood memory.

When a child starts growing it always carry some thing in their memory from their parents. It is a natural course. I was not more than 5-6 years old when I heard my father singing this song. After indulging myself in music was not aware that this song was sung by Lata. When I finally purchased a 33 rpm long plays, I found it more beautiful than my imaginations. Those golden days have gone. But today listening to a complete bhajan which is the best from Lata is my favourite. (22nd May 2011)
