glcoombs1: you seem to be missing the point of the ad. The whole idea is to warn people against the dangers of doing ridiculous things after drinking too much. When sober, like at the start of a night, nobody behaves like this, but people do (as you rightly pointed out) when they're way too drunk. So the point is, stay a little more sober, and you'll see that behaviour is stupid and to be avoided. A very clever ad campaign.

When sober, people see the behaviour shown here as ridiculous. However, as you rightfully pointed out, people who are too drunk can get themselves in a mess like this. That's the message; you wouldn't act like this sober (at the start of a night), so drink less & you'll avoid doing it at the end of the night.
