It's Las Fallas(Fallas de Valancia) in Valencia, Spain. It's a festival that lasts for about 2 weeks.

During those 2 weeks there are daily daytime fw shows(Mascleta's) and nighttime shows. Also you can buy your own fireworks which are a lot better then the Belgian fireworks you might have had, since ur from Holland. You can buy and light fireworks those whole weeks.

But next year? It's in March. And finding flights and hotels now is going to be nearly impossible. Especially in the city centre

It is the city of Valencia in Spain. This type of event is called Mascleta, is own(proper) of the Valencian region.

I have been there and can assure you that it(he,she) is impresioante.

It is a type of shot in which there are used firecrackers of great power, salute shells and candles. The technology every time helps mas in this type of shots, creating paces based on the explosions.

There is quantity of videoes of these shots only you have to search for the word Mascleta.
