  • how do you remove it?

  • will it fitwith a speck or incase hardshell on top of that

  • how about the new macbook pro 15 inch? can i use the same bodyguard?

  • @ChanoPlace u cant the one he has is meant for 13 inch macbook pros

  • Does it increase the heat?

  • does anybody know if these work on the new 2011 macbook pro 13 inch?

  • if you dont squeege the solution out of the film, would it potentially mess up your macbook?

  • does the edge around the apple peel?

  • I got this, it works great!

  • great job..

  • so whats it like now, do the corners curl and collect lint?

  • @amerboy22 nope still spotless

  • @mocciat I don't plan on getting a case for my laptop after applying the BodyGuardz. Would that be wise? I'm a student, so I often have my laptop in the backpack with my books and binders, and plus the fact that sometimes when I put the backpack down, it isn't always on soft ground. Will that damage my MBP now I no longer have a case for it?

  • @ScribblerJane I don't have a case on mine only the bodyguards but I am not on the go as much as a college student. I would get either a super cushy backpack like the STM Revolution (i did a review on that one) or get a Speck Satin for your Macbook which will still fit with a BodyGuardz. This way you have the best of both worlds.

  • @mocciat I have a Speck Satin on right now. The problem I have with it is the laches that keeps the case on, over time, have started chipping off, so the bottom part is loose now...And it does add bulk to the computer.

If I already have protection with BodyGuardz, why would I still need a case?

  • @ScribblerJane BodyGuardz will protect from scratches but minor drops it really does not help. If you are confident you won't drop it or knock it off a desk you will be ok. Just keep in mind the Speck will protect somewhat against drops whereas the BodyGuardz mostly protects against scratches.

  • @mocciat Thank you. Those are good cautionary reminders. But at home, BodyGuardz should be enough right?

  • @mocciat Thank you. That's all really good advice. I think I know what to get now. Great video. When I get the package, I will follow your direction.

  • great video :) thanks.... just a question though... would the bottom piece create problems for when the macbook starts getting very hot? say for instance while playing a game when the temp shoots upto 80 degrees celcius... it would still allow heat transfer right?

    thanks :)

  • @l2ounak

heat on macbooks comes out through the vent where the screen hinges and clutch cover is located, it has nothing to do with the case itself. a single fan and the heat sink drive hot air out through the middle of the vent and draw cool air through the sides

  • @ferraridav some of the heat disapates through the body itseelf

  • Wow i need to get one of these for my macbook. subscribed :)
