Damn, its wose than I though. I have been anti eBay-PayPal for years now but I wasn't aware of the hacker issue. I'm lucky I never was scammed since I only bought vinyl records, but not to say that is safe, nothing is on their sites.

Most Corrupt Company I can think of at the moment, next thing we know they will gain status as a church and become tax exempt. or are they already?

I am seriously asking that last question, anyone know?? thanks for the list of websites also!

Hello. This is really nothing in comparison to some of the other things being discovered about our good friends. Go to auctionbytes & look for article about ebay & paypal accounts for sale. View my Cappnonymous blog at wordpress (regarding same subject) to see paypal employee state that 75% of their clients are registered with fake info.

Also. I have a recent vid proving eb operated now for over 11 yrs w ID Theft allowing critical safety xss flaws, w full knowledge thereof

one time i was on ebay and one of the ads had a browser exploit and it made it look like i was still on ebay but really i was on a different site, I could have lost my credit card number right there

ya ebay sucks, my neighbor made a new account and i managed it. She never once logged in, becasue she had no pc, so i was the only one to log in. I know all about fake emails and such, and I always go directly to ebay. Well after loggin in fine for about 1 week, all of a sudden, i get bukucharges to my credit card and my pass changed. I contacted ebay about it, you know what they did.

They suspended my account, becasue i was linked to her account, who got all kinds of bad feedback. EbayDead

Yes, ebay is hacked!

Ebay has been under massive attack since at least Feb 2007.

Latest threats include the Bayrob.trojan, & the complex botnet discovered by Aladdin Knowledge Systems, along with the long uncorrected ID stealing xss flaws(s) & flash redirects etc.

And of course the NON stop phishing attempts against users.

it was proven that the credit card numbers associated with the address were made up CC numbers. the names and addresses were real, but they were obtained by people who PHISHED this from accounts. hacked? hardly.

I have personal knowledge that ebay was not truthful. I witnessed the attack. I documented the attack. I SPOKE to people whose names&data was posted AS the attack was underway. The #s were real.

Ebay started COVERING the incident up looong before the board shut down.

I think hackers are not ebay's first problem, if 1 of there servers gets hacked its not ebay losing money... they still have there sponsors.

The Hackers may not a problem to ebay, because ebay gets paid no matter what. They are for the hapless users though. Plenty of sellers are autoumatically billed for the hijacked listings, then going through an obstacle course of automated emails, shoddy customer service etc after being hijacked. Is ebay responsible for the shoddy coding, or is this video? This video is a consumer alert/warning about a dangerous, irresponsible website.

They have had at least over a year to correct it, instead, they spend their effort with star ratings on feedback, the "SMI" policy, increased censorship on their forums, and the dumbest, lamest thing yet (IMO)..."Windorphins".
