  • weird i live in a city called Connolly in Canada haha

  • Inchicore engineers used to comment on how poorly maintained the NIR GMs were, from brake cylinders to injectors. Shame, as these locos will almost run themselves with just moderately competent maintenance. Still going on, apparently: both are supposed to go 50-50 onnthe Enterprise GMs, but the shop @ Connolly say that probs occuring in NIR territory aren't being done 'oop north'. Seemingly, Belfast never really got a handle on the more complex US standard maintenance.
