@fatmansbox Those are the different stages of fire. It depends on the amount of gas you insert. You know when you light up something, that you sometimes cant'see the flame, but only hear it? You don't want to touch that. Well, the blue flame indicates that it is a much less harmful and hot flame.

@SnipingCowFilms True, but it's not a satisfactory flame thrower. the gasoline will just pool up on the ground and then you have a flaming pool of gas on the ground. I made mine with an old compression tank and some gasoline but I added an home made aerator to mine, that made it burn hotter and eliminated the pooling factor. I don't suggest doing any of these.
