You know, this could work. If you listen to some of Oasis's best stuff from their early days, the vocal style was similar in the sense that it sounds like the singer isn't arsed about how he sounds and is just singing because he wants to.

Those of you who believe that Definently Maybe was a unique touch of artistic and flawless perfection really need to listen to the album again without nostaglia.

The album was far from perfect, but something about that imperfection actually made it great.

@Bigdave23109 Noel made the mistake of trying to polish everything in later albums in the mistaken belief that it would create better stuff.

He also made Liam record tracks repeatedly to "get it perfect" which took away the raw, couldn't give a shit vocal attitude which is what made Liam great.

Hopefully Beady Eye will take us back there, eh?
