I like what you've done so far but it seems like a lot of work for a small bike like a 250 why not a 650 or larger, I'm building a 450 Suzuki for my daughter she's only 4'11' so that will be plenty big for her and I had a 250 Honda waiting in the wings for my wife but My son wanted it back, I think he wants to fix it for his wife, I really didn't have time for it anyway, I'm really interested in what your bike will look like when finished, nice work!
Great stuff, I built a 82 cb750, I got a rigid roller for about 600 and the motor for about 250. I built it in about a month, after watching the patiance of you guys and your attention to detail I think I will have to start over and take my time. And really do everything right. Thanks and dont stop know you got people depending on you.
really enjoyed these red bacon videos, just found out about them now. Was really looking forward to the finished bike video! hope you work on it soon and start posting up some vids.
What...Kids? Uh, no thank you, but I appreciate the offer. Although you appear to be trainin' 'em young, like bird dogs. The one seems to be real useful for fabricating stuff.
As for brutal winters: I gave those up a loooong time ago. Portland OR is as far north as I'm ever gonna go. It just rains a lot here. Ain't nothin' quite as miserable as working in a bitter cold shop. And you can't hear the music with a space heater roaring away.
Great job guys! Love all the custom work being done yourselves. I have a '73 Honda cb750 Bobber that I'm doing as well, thanks for the motivation to keep on it.
This is a two-guy project.. we also both have day job's.. the toy garage is rented and doesn't pay for itself and neither do my 4 kids.. (maybe they should pay? hmmm) -Rob
no prob... i know how it goes. still trying to get my cm400t running right along with the CR480R i just bought. the wait will just make the next 50 that more enjoyable!
Thanks.. Were on it ! - But we both also have DAY JOBS and Rent / Mortgage to pay.. Aaaak ! - the slower it goes however the more CUSTOM DETAILS it will have... -Rob
Indeed.. and anything you want can be made.. 2D or 3D.. If you have a plug.. you have a shape.. Just wait til you see the future pegs/running boards.. Go look for the elevators on a Fokker DR-1. The pegs will probably be machine gun barrels..
I can see you finished the bike. Are the videos being edited or are you just over it?
Hope to see the ending.

I'm working on a Nighthawk 250 myself (just trying to get it run, no chopper for me) and these videos have been a huge inspiration.

I checked out the elevators on a Fokker DR-1 what a great idea for floor boards!
and machine gun barrels for foot pegs , enough said . Awesome!
