I was unfortunate enough to have this game on the SNES as a kid. I thought I couldn't do it because I was young... WRONG. Hardest fucking game ever made. Even on an emulator with savestates this is an exercise in frustration. This guy makes it look easy...

The game is actually pretty average when it comes down to it, but 3 lives you're out plus wooden controls plus absurdly low HP = Nintendo hard. Actually even by this game's standards the final boss is a joke...

The any games that involve Arthur were the hardest for that time. I played Super Ghouls n Ghosts and that is a real in the ass. Second stage pissed me off. The music is a win just like the Ghosts n Goblins arcade. I think this is harder than Ghosts n Goblins, then again I never played Ghosts n Goblins. I could never beat the boss without losing the bracelet.

He did that all on his own. I have no idea what makes it happen. He also died during another SGnG run I made, a Normal mode run that time. In both runs I was far to the right side of the screen at the end of the final boss fight, maybe that had something to do with it?
