People think he is a genius. Look at his returns and you will notice that on average he has lost money. When he was asked if he made more money on books or on trading, he started saying "boo.." then realized that he would be uncovered as a hoax.

@patricknikolausley I wouldnt call his theories a hoax. They seem very rational to me. So maybe he isnt a good trader. Considering how much manipulation is going on, Id imagine trading these days is much harder than it should be.

@patricknikolausley Actually his stuff is legit. But other than his protege Mark Spitznagel, I am fairly certain no one else out there would actually have the discipline or the courage to employ his strategies.
