  • My favorit: Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel, with Aloe Vera Formula, Alcohol-Free Toner, it's cheap. Only $7.66 for 355ml. I have combination/problem skin. In winter I have sometimes dry spots on my face but this toner helps a lot with my Cococare, 100% Cocoa Butter, The Yellow Stick (not only for lips/hands), it's 28g and $1.37 it fits in my bag. I have both from iherb dot com (they ship worldwide). I have a cupon code for this site if you want order the first time: VIK284 and you have 5$ off.

  • I love the cetaphil moisturizer!!

  • You look like Kristen Bell! :)

  • The Deep Clean Cream Cleanser is my favorite! love it!

  • I love your videos! You're so cute and fun :) Please check out my channel.

  • hey great video! I'm sorry but I want to try out Proactiv but I don't really understand what step 3. is ! Could someone explain how and how much to apply on you're face, what it does, and if you have to wear a moisturizer on top of it?

    -Thanks

    love the videooo!

  • Proactiv, SkinID, and Clean and Clear do not work for me. if there anything else that might work for ME? cause i have really sensitive and firm skin

  • I don't think you're supposed to use Retin A in the day? It's an evening only product. Retin A reacts with sunlight, so it can be harmful to use during the day x

  • Hi Liz!

I love to see your videos because I'm from Mexico and I need to watch videos in English to practice my listening skills but with your videos I can practice listening and find useful advice from you.

    Really good!!!

  • ur so pretty!!

  • retin a was so drying for me. i have oily skin and it made my skin flaky and dry. I definitly want to try cetaphil :)

  • why would you use retin-a with proactiv? why would you use proactiv period? retin-a boosts collagen production and fights ageing while proactiv (benzoyl peroxide) does the opposite. BP is an oxidant, which creates free radicals in the skin and thus making it look worse and speeding up the ageing process in the long run. stick to the retin-a alone, its enough.

  • Hello, concerning the retin A, do you use the cream or the gel and what % of strength? thank you!

  • when you use the refining mask at night, do you need to damp your skin first? (use it after the 3 steps?)

  • really cute !!!

  • Hi Liz,

Just wondering, is retin a good for very damaged skin? I used to be a regular at the solarium and have a lot of sun damage., I've tried all different peels and now i'm using retin a. I've been on it for almost 6 months and even though i've noticed a real smoothing effect it's still quite damaged and i'm worried if i keep using it i won't have any skin left! Will it eventually start to thicken up again or would i be doing more damage by continuing to use it?

  • hi liz are you wearing tangerine joy here? :-) one of my fave nail colors!

  • Isn't using Retin A in the morning like not safe cuz it'll burn when out in natural light?

    Ur gorgeous!!!!! :] :]

  • u use Retin A in the morningg???

    no way...

  • i just got cetaphil moisturizer tonight and so far it makes my skin feels drenched. love it so far. btw ur gorgeous. u have a new subby. finey

  • What product do you recommended to douche your vajayjay?

  • Get FREE OLAY QUENCH. Search for the "Quench for Clunkers" videos!

  • hey liz you have gotten me thinking about trying retin-a now, will it help with my oil production? I swear my face is like an OIL WELL!!!! I also have HUGE pores on my nose and smaller ones on my cheeks.

  • I use the retin-a too. I used the cetaphil cleanser before at my cousins, and it felt great on my skin! However, I use the neutrogena oil free acne wash. I want to use the cetaphil cleanser, but I don't know when I would use it. I also use the Duac Topical Gel which works wonders when using the retin-a too! Any advice of when to use the cetaphil cleanser?

  • I use neutrogena oil free acne wash and olay moisturizer, oh and clearisil acne cream! also st.ives scrub. =) make up wipes also, but that's it, im 13 so i have a ton of acne! =/

  • i'm a guy and i use proactiv all the time, it's great!

  • i cant live without cetaphil! i have the same type skin as well :)

  • Hi

    U said u use RetinA.

I use it too, u said u use it in the morning.

What is ur routine, moisturiser, retinA then makeup? Please help me. Becasuse i usually use it at night

  • Definitely keep using it at night. Using it during the day enhances the liklihood of the retenoic acid molecule breaking apart and being ineffective. Just cleanse at night, tone, apply retin a after you wait till ur face is completely dry, then let that sink in, then apply a strong botanical moisturizer (make sure it does not contain Alpha Hydroxy Acids, just get a plain moisturizer)

  • My nose is always crazy dry

  • how much of the refining mask do you need for your whole face?

  • is retin-a and retinol kina the same or are they completly diferent on fighting wrinkles. please get back to me if you can thanx

  • Hi Liz! I just found your youtube page today and I love how positive you are. :) I subscribed! Take care!!

  • I'm using the Retin-A cream at 0.05%, and I focused it basically around my nose and my forehead. Been using it for about a month and a half, and the pores around my nose look a little bigger...my pores were basically invisible before using it..is this normal?

  • I've heard many times that moisturizing is especially important for people with oily skin because your face over produces oil when it's not properly hydrated, so a good moisturizer that is not oily would be good.

This goes with what you said so I just want to restate it for others. You have quite beautiful skin!

  • I also use Cetaphil and love it! Do you have to have serve acne before a dr. prescribes the Retin-A or can you have very little acne?

  • I use cetaphil and proactive too!!

I also use Gerlavit german vitamin creme and it is a very thick moiturizer that is really great!! I think my skin has never looked better^^ you have beautiful skin*_*

  • Hi Liz! I got another question. Lately I start having breakouts. Should I start using Proactive? Is that what you are using it for, to prevent breakouts? Thanks,

  • Hey, i just have a question. Im on accutane right now and i was wondering which products i can use to get rid of the redness and dryness of my face. After i shower in the morning 20 minutes after my face looks horrible with redness and dryness. If u have anything that will help please let me know, thanks.

  • Hi Liz. You have such beautiful skin. Can you provide more information on Retin-A? Does it help with even out skin-tone, and lighten the acne scars? Thanks,

  • Hi there! Thanks for your kind words!!

The Retin-A does evern out our skin and reduce acne scars gradually. I use it only at night now because with sunlight it makes your skin very sensitive.

    Besos!

    Liz

  • Hey Liz! Thanks for the video. By the way, my skin care routine is just about the same as yours. I use the proactiv as well, and I've just been prescribed some Retin-A (0.05%). A quick question though. Did you experience any burning or other effects from using the Retin-A and Proactiv together? I've also been advised to use the Retin-A twice a day by my doctor. Did you get any problems from using it in the mornings?

  • Hi there!

I have not had any burning sensations. I now only use the Retin-A every other night. I alternate between that and the repairing lotion.

    Besos!

    Liz

  • Great video!!! Just wondering, how much of the retin a cream do you use in the morning? And do you put it all over your face?

  • Thanks! I´m actually using the Retin-A cream now every other night, I alternate it with my ProActiv repairing lotion. I will be doing an updated skin care video soon!

    Besos

    Liz

  • your not suppose to use retin a during the day...just fyi

  • do u thnk i can use sm thng insted ov pro active at nyt coz i'v try it and it mks ma skin really dry !! plz help coz i hate acne

    thnx u r so hot

  • this skin care regimen is almost similar to mine, minus the proactiv items though :) i use retin a as well, and your right .. it has worked wonders for my skin & it gradually minimizes my acne scars.

  • WHAT STRENGTH IS YOUR RETIN A

  • youre so pretty and you look like your glowing.i loved this skincare video..very very helpful :)

  • glad found your channel..you're beautiful!

  • so helpful!! thanks so much, your skin looks amazing!

  • Thank you! (:

  • Great video! I use Retin-A and it has done wonders for my skin!

Just a question: why do you use Retin-A in the AM? As far as I know, exposure to sunlight deactivates tretinoin. Also, since Retin-A increases sun sensitivity it is advised to use it at night.

  • Thanks for taking time to watch my videos and comment!

As far as using Retin-A in the morning... my RX says to use it twice a day and I have never heard that it is deactivated by sunlight so I'm not sure about that. Using Retin-A in the morning is just how it fits into my schedule best since I use the pro-activ @ night. Thanks again!

  • Yes that is true, it says so in the intstructions on the box and my derm told me so as well. But I guess you haven't experienced any side effects.

  • Do you remember what nailpolish you were wearing in this video ? xx

  • Hi Cathee, thanks for your help with the question on what time I use to Retin A! (;

Yes, the nail polish I'm wearing is:

    China Glaze - Mom's Chiffon

  • do u use the retin a in the morning or at night??

  • She uses it in the morning: check the side bar :)

  • Thanks for helping, Cathee. (:

I use the Retin A in the morning. You can use it in the AM or PM, which ever time works better for you.

  • This was super. I was looking for videos on youtube about daily skin care routines but they all involved really expensive brands; one of them spent $1,000 a year on her skin care products. I don't have that kind of money! Your video was really down to earth and simple, with super affordable products. Thanks, it was excellent!

  • I'm so glad I could help you! This routine works well for me... if you try any of the products I discussed, let me know what you think! Thanks for taking time to watch and comment!

  • is retin-a and retinol the same thing?

  • you are probably the clearest makeup speaker on youtube.

  • Really? Hah.. well I see that you subscribe to a lot of people so coming from you I'm flattered! Thanks for taking time to comment!

  • Awesome!! ur Amazing!

  • You're so sweet! Thanks!
