You know, everytime the discussion turns to 'lighting up' other trucks I start to cringe.

First off, anyone who actually uses a heavy duty truck for work (I.E. a contractor, like me) doesn't care about lighting anything up. It's about power and reliability.

@08SilveradoLT its used on multiple cars. the mustang 5.0,ls2 gto 6.0(says it on the trunk in chrome letters),buick grand national 3.8(said it on the hood scoop) alot of cadillac cars(5.0,5.7 on the trunk, 4100 on the fenders of sum and even the 67-69 427 corvettes were commonly knows as 7.0 or 7 litre. the newer z06 corvettes i think say it on the fender along with the horsepower rating.

i hate it when people act like complete cocks, and as for you're truck, i bet when you still had that beast it turned heads. i absolutely love Chevy's. we have had our 1999 suburban 1500 for about 4 years now and we think its the best vehicle we have bought so far. its a Gasser, 5.7[350] small block vortec v8, she runs a 3 speed[not including overdrive] tranny with 3.43 rear gears. i love it she will hit o-60 in about 11-13 seconds.
