  • I love the way you talk throughout the whole video! Most talk, then get quiet while training, then talk afterwards.

  • I really liked this video cause you addressed this issue of the horse turning her head away from the cow. We are in the process of starting my four year old quarter horse on cutting and he is really coming along but we have started having the same problem with him looking away from the cows. I really think your tips will help us. Thanks!!

  • Hi Larry,

What would you say to someone who does't like devices being used? A friend of mine discredited your video because of that. K

  • I would say, "that's fine with me. There is more than one way to train a horse".

  • Hi Larry, thank you for the 2 cutting clips. Re cutting : I would like to learn cutting, but all I ever here is about how to train the cutting horse - but how do I RIDE A cutting horse. I rode one time, and felt like a rag doll on the cutting horse. I havent tried again, cos I just dont know if it is just not for me. I know you should sit on your pockets etc. BUT the more I tried the more I felt like I weighed 5lbs -and getting lighter with each move of the horse!

  • Hi Tayce,

I have a new dvd coming out in a couple of months that goes into a lot of detail about how to ride a cutting horse.

Make sure you are signed up to my Horse Training Tips newsletter for notification of when it's ready.

Plus, you'll get a bunch of good horse training information free.
