The second you see or hear a deer and start to shake, take deep breaths and exhale fully. Whisper, calm down, calm down, calm down... Take deep breaths and exhale fully. The closer he gets, the more you zero in on a small patch on it's shoulder; the spot you want to hit with your arrow. The more you concentrate on this, the less you shake, or at least you won't notice it so badly. Hope this helps! Also, don't forget to cut of your shirt tail for that miss. ;)
@bloodymeadows - Thanx man I will use that 4sure!!! Alot of my shakes here came from being wet & cold N with that being the first deer action of the season my nerves were kicking pretty good too.... It was a bad mixture 4 no wind & a supper close encounter! lol
@MidWestOutdoorz Last time I had a stare down was quite a few years back. He knew something was watching him, he just didn't know what. It all started out like some epic hunting video...He stepped into a clearing, rays of the sun cascading all around him as he threw his head up trying to wind me. He trotted to within 10 yards of me and stopped. Needless to say he stared me down for about 45 minutes then suddenly dropped his head. Quick draw and release....he ran about 15 yards and dropped.

Great footage of the doe stomping at you! Way to keep here close by snorting at her! Hunting 101 at its best!
