Thank you for posting this movie. It is one of the best of the pre-code movies. Harlow and Gable's chemistry steams up the screen. Mary Astor is rather sultry in her own right. A very provocative movie with witty dialogue. I've been looking for a DVD copy to replace my VHS tape.

For me, as a man, I admire Clark for his looks, his voice, his manner, his way with women....must have been nice to be admired by men and loved by women, the way he was...

where can i find this film? it's been one of my favorites since i was a kid. the reason why it's not reissued all the time must be the magic between gable and harlow would but modern movie romantic couples to shame. sixty years later it's obvious why clark gable was called the king of hollywood...and that cute little jean harlow was was a star from the first film she made. now, i gotta go and try and track 'red dust down' on the internet...

Yes, but remember she was in the hands of the best of her day. Clark Gable and Billy Powell, cried their eyes out, when she died. Don't let the lesson be forgotten. I'm a fifty-old fault old fart who convinced my generations to deny her the killer weed. It flatters me to think that she, billy and Clark might have made a difference, back in the day.
