It has become much easier, but as far as "Easiest" is concerned, I'd disagree with that one. As it does depend on situation, and how long your dps wants to wait before attacking, (Warriors = Long/Druids = Medium/Paladin = Doesn't really matter)

I just got one thing to say.. any prot FTW!

I prefer warrior because they use rage instead of mana and an oom pally tank isn't that good anymore because seal of rightesness (sorry if I spelled it wrong) only gives 90% more theath when you use holy spells.

also I'm 67 atm and I do a bit more damage then a pally tbh my revenge crits for 1600 and my shield slam for 1300.

basically if you're getting heals you don't go oom with the changes they have made. I have more threat then the warriors or DKs in my guild but not sure how much of that is gear based or actually that paladins have higher threat

calm down... Warrior (ME)... is the best... I know that a warrior if done right can agro more than a Pally.. But if you want to do a low lvl run by your self.. Pally, just cuz they can heal..

It depends on what you want to do... If you want to be main raid tank on 25man raids roll a warrior, if you want to be king of the 5-man then roll a paladin.

use WoW Model Viewer and use fraps to capture it. The guy that wrote it for whatever reason isn't keeping it up, so there are a couple fan updates but that's about it. It's not as easy to do as it was pre-patch 3.0

used Fraps, then Windows Movie Maker to edit (encoded as portable device to get the size down) look for better software then WMM though ;-)

What kind of addons do you use for tanking? And what aura do you tank with? I use retribution for threat. Great video by the way.

I've been trying to keep my add-ons very light so I can still play right after a patch if none of them have been updated, but currently:

* CTMod (Bottom bar for timers and unitframes)

* Deatly Boss Mods

* Omen

* SmartDebuff

that's it for tanking... others:

* Outfitter

* PallyPower

* Carbonite Quest (until I'm done questing)

oh forgot the Aura... normally ret for trash aoe pulls some times for boss too, but have imp Devotion so use that some times on boss fights, or have it up if we have multiple pally. The new shield of Righteousness helps threat a lot

look up curse gaming on yahoo or google then you can search for the addons by name. I use the same addons for all my toons, hunter wouldn't need pallypower or buff/debuff but other then that

hey man nice work , ima tankadin 2 just wondering ur thoughts on the glyph to increse consecrate to ten seconds , ive been usin it , keeps mana usage down and keep my global cooldown timing in line , but def isnt maximizing my aggro , which i dont really have probs with. So do u use it ? just lookin for an opinion outside of my server, keep up the good work ;)

hey man, I do use the consecrate glyph and it helps some... I'd like to hav a few more options on glyphs but here is what I'm using right now:

Minor: Lay on Hands

Minor: Wise

Minor: Blessing of Wisdom

Major: Consecration

Major: Spiritual Attunement

at 80 Major: Righteous Defense

Hoping the put out some other good tanking Glyphs though, mana has been a bit of a problem since patch 3.0...

I'm a tankadin myself and I don't like the glyph.. it does help with mana and such but it makes catching adds harder. I didn't seem to have consecration when I needed it for adds. Plus I never have much of a mana problem I use seal of wisdom + JoW. It seems more like a PvE ret glyph to me. Ret's have a mana problem and that would help maximize their damage while minimizing mana use. Or holy for pvp.

Tanking tips:

Grand Magus Telestra: Just tank her normal, when she throws you around use instant spells to keep agro do dmg, when she splits kill arcane version first to avoid poly.

Ormorok the Tree-Shaper: Tank and spank, ice lances coming out of the ground don't appear to hit in melee range

Anomalus: Again standard tanking, kill adds when they spawn

Keristrasza: Face him away from your group, but also be sure no one is directly behind him. He has a cone cold breath he casts in front and a tail swipe in the rear so dps melee need to attack from a side.

Also you MUST keep moving on this fight there is a de-buff dot that stacks while you stand still, moving clears the de-buff. Side stepping seems to cause him to reposition easily so your best bet is to jump up and down the entire fight to avoid the de-buff
